Medicine: The Place of Consensus Building

- The Lab uses spaces and organizations within the incubator to collect data and test hypotheses in order to build consensuses.

- GMNG is aware that everyone needs health, and all people consume health. Accordingly, where medicine goes, society follows.

- Importantly, GMNG is physician-led, allowing for the consensuses built within its Family Science Lab to be easily adopted into medicine and spread the channel of health.

  • At the GMNG Family Science Lab, we confront the eroding values of family under postmodernist views, which assert that societal structures, including family and its traditions, are merely social constructs without intrinsic authority or sacred meaning. Postmodernism posits that reality and its institutions are man-made, thus devoid of any authoritative essence. This paradigm shift increasingly promotes a political economy that prioritizes individual interests over familial bonds, fostering a utilitarian approach where community and family are valued only for their utility in enhancing individual pleasure and reducing harm.

  • In stark contrast, our lab reasserts the foundational role of family as an essential societal structure. We leverage diverse networks and pluralistic models to explore and reaffirm the primary truths of life, established through rigorous research and dialogue. By employing both quantitative and qualitative methods, we strive to reach a justified consensus on family obligations that transcend materialistic measures of value.
